Roots & Wings Gala
The Roots & Wings Gala is an annual event benefitting Trails Youth Initiatives. This year’s event will be extra special as we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Trails’ founding. Our event will take place at Toronto’s unique historical / art deco special events venue, The Carlu and includes a “roaring 20s theme”. Come dressed in a 20’s style outfit or your favourite cocktail outfit. The choice is yours!
Food & Drinks
We will begin in The Carlu’s Sky Room with a cocktail hour and oyster bar provided by Coastline Catering. Following the cocktail hour, we will move the festivities to the spectacular Round Room for a reception-style dinner provided by award-winning caterer Eatertainment. Eatertainment will feature 1920's inspired canapes, and gourmet food and dessert stations harmonizing the relationship between great taste, perfect texture and bold colour.

Celebrate Trails' 20th anniversary in style and let the music of the Toronto Sounds Big Band entertain you and take you back to the by-gone days of the roaring 20s. You won't want to miss the Toronto Sounds Big Band "little big band experience." Made up of eight musicians and a lead vocalist they will perform a selection of tunes from the roaring 20s and beyond, including jazz, swing, and of course, big band. Live and Wish List Auctions
We will host wish list and high-end live auctions featuring Christie’s auctioneer, Tash Perrin. Both the live auction and wish list auctions are a highlight of the evening and a significant driver of the event revenues. In past events, live auction items have included hotel/travel packages, golf club memberships, home oyster parties, and more! The 2012 live auction line-up will be revealed soon.
